I had a memorable stay at Tunamaya Desaru with stunning views and friendly staff. The location was perfect, right by the beach, but there were some cleanliness issues in the room that detracted from the experience. Overall, it’s a nice spot for a getaway, especially if you enjoy good food at the nearby restaurant.

I recently stayed at this resort in Desaru and enjoyed the beautiful sunrise views from my room. While the food at the Nelayan seafood restaurant was fantastic and the Chinese chef was a highlight, there were service issues that need addressing. The hotel's condition seemed a bit worn, and I had to follow up multiple times to receive basic amenities. Overall, it's a decent spot for relaxing near the beach but has room for improvement.
